bbdevdays
Overview
bbdev days is a subsidiary of Blackbaud's annual user conference, bbcon. Since the transition to a fully remote workforce, bbdev days is now a completely virtual conference, where the only design elements are seen via zoom. Here, a sample of illustrated virtual backgrounds and stickers help breath some life and interaction to the virutal space.
Approach
The goal of this project was to illustrate a space that virtual attendees would want to hang out in. The arena stage was built around the space that a key speaker might place their avatar when presenting. The chill zone was a relaxing, networking area where attendees could meet between sessions. The base camp is the "home" screen area, where schedules were posted and general conference news was shared.
Stickers were also created with dev-familiar sayings, offering a way for attendees to show their devdays pride post-conference
