Mission for Good
Overview
On a Mission for Good is a t-shirt design developed for Blackbaud Cares, a company-wide initiative to give back to the local community through volunteer efforts. In addition to being worn on Blackbaud Cares Day, an annual day of volunteering, the shirt was also gifted to new all employees as a kind gesture to welcome them to the Blackbaud Team.
Approach
The concept behind "On a Mission" is two-fold—first, to inspire a global volunteering, a core blackbaud value, and second, to show that good deeds have limitless impacts, and that no matter where you work, every good deed makes a difference in the world.
Practically, a shirt is a great way to spread brand awareness. While the intial design was a dark blue to better represent the night sky, the design was altered to work on a lighter blue t-shirt to account for employees volunteering in the South Carolina heat.
